I came across this place while watching a Rocketboom video on YouTube. It's called the Morbid Anatomy Library and it's in New York and I'm glad it was mentioned because it's one of those unique places that you don't always hear about otherwise. There is something about death that I find interesting, I think it's because there are so many different beliefs that people have about what happens when we die.
Some people believe that there is some sort afterlife where human souls go and some believe that when we die we are gone and our bodies simply decompose. I'm probably in the second group but at the same time I still find myself believing ghosts and supernatural beings at times. I also find it interesting how some people are so comfortable with death and others treat it as a big taboo.
I'd love to hear of any similar places (not necessarily about death) but just similar places that I might not find out about unless someone brings them to my attention. Any ideas?
